Day 19: Seattle Trip

Since our quarantine is finally over, we had to celebrate with a trip down to Seattle! First, we had to do the obvious tourist attraction, The Space Needle (photo 1), because how could you visit Seattle and not go? Dad however is not the biggest fan of heights, so he did not join Tamara and I on the revolving glass floors. However, we did convince him to sit on the glass benches on the top level of The Needle (photo 2). Then, we took the monorail (photo 3) downtown so that we could go to Pikes Place Market. I was very excited to see the Pikes Place Market again, it has been many years since I have been there. One of my favorite aspects of Pikes Place Market is the abundance of fresh flower bouquets (photo 4). We walked around Seattle looking at the different shops until all of our legs were tired, then we went back on the monorail to where the Subaru was parked so we could head back to Bellingham. Overall, a very fun day to say the least.
