Day 5: Las Vegas, NV -> San Luis Obispo, CA

 This morning we woke up in Las Vegas and hit the road around 7:45 AM, we had a very scenic drive to get to San Luis Obispo (SLO). We crossed into California and drove through Death Valley National Park (photo 1 & 2)  and Kern River Valley (photo 3 & 4) scenic drive; both were very beautiful and definitely worth the time. We visited the Death Valley General Store where there were colorful rocks for sale that I had to get a quick pic of (pic 5). After around 10 hours on the road, we made it to SLO. I am convinced I could totally live here, there is so much charm in this city. Tomorrow we head out to Monterey, CA early in the morning!

Side note: Dad wanted to make sure that I mentioned how awesome he is, it's true, but someone should consider ego-checking him soon.
