Day 21: Up Mount Baker And Down To Larrabee State Park

Today we took a quick trip up to Mont Baker, stopping along the way to look at the Nooksack Falls. As a posing Bham native, I have seen both the mountain and the falls a great deal of times, yet the beautiful views never get old. We planned on going on a short hike once we got up to the top, Artist Point, but was surprised to see the trail was completely covered in snow still! Nevertheless, we still had a good time driving with the windows down and enjoying the beauty of the nature around us. Once we got back to the house, Papa and I decided to drive the short distance down to Larrabee State Park to scout out some sunset photo opportunities down near the beach (photo 1- which was actually taken the following day after our scouting mission went well).
